Tableau ships a built-in Google BigQuery connector across Tableau Cloud, Desktop, Prep and Server. It authenticates with Google OAuth or with service-account credentials, the latter only configurable in Tableau Desktop, and a firm can register its own custom OAuth client rather than rely on Tableau's. Tableau reads from the warehouse; nothing is written back.
