Autodesk Revit ↔ Navisworks (Revit File Exporter; NWD opens in Revit)

Built by Autodesk

Autodesk ships a Revit file exporter that writes NWC directly from Revit, carrying object geometry and metadata into the Navisworks federated model — the canonical route by which an architectural, structural or MEP Revit model reaches a clash-detection session, and the highest-volume model handoff in the catalog's Autodesk cluster. The return leg is documented on Autodesk's own Navisworks page: Navisworks files open in Revit, and Clash Detective pushes coordination issues back into Revit, so the clash a coordinator raises lands where the modeller can fix it at source.
