How Navisworks and Graphisoft Archicad exchange data

Autodesk ships an Archicad file exporter that writes NWC directly from Archicad, carrying object geometry and its associated metadata into the Navisworks federated model for clash detection and coordination review. The exporter is not a convenience — Navisworks cannot read Archicad's native format at all, so this is the only route by which a Graphisoft model reaches a Navisworks coordination session without going through IFC. It is distributed free in the NWC Export Utility, so an Archicad team can publish into coordination without holding a Navisworks seat. (Autodesk's own documentation still spells the artifact "ArchiCAD File Exporter", predating Graphisoft's rebrand.)
