Tableau ships a built-in Snowflake connector across Tableau Cloud, Desktop, Prep and Server. It supports Snowflake OAuth and key-pair authentication, the latter needing Snowflake's own ODBC driver at 3.4.0 or newer and available from Tableau 2024.3 (Server 2025.1). Tableau reads from the warehouse; nothing is written back.
