About

AccuLynx is an all-in-one business management platform for residential roofing contractors, covering lead and sales-pipeline management, estimating and homeowner proposals, job production and crew scheduling, and job-level invoicing and payment collection. Aerial roof measurements and distributor material orders are placed from inside the job file, field photos and documents attach to it, and customers, invoices and payments sync out to QuickBooks or Sage Intacct. It is built around insurance-restoration and retail roofing workflows rather than commercial construction management.

How teams use it

By audience

Specialty Contracting
  • Runs a residential roofing company end to end in one job file — lead, inspection, estimate, contract, production, invoice.
  • Insurance-restoration workflow: store adjuster correspondence, scope documents and supplement paperwork against the claim job.
  • Order material from ABC Supply, SRS Roof Hub or QXO at company pricing without leaving the job.
  • Trade-specific reporting on job profit, crew throughput and sales-rep pipeline rather than generic project KPIs.
Business Development
  • Manages the roofing sales pipeline from storm/canvassing lead through signed contract with stage-based milestones.
  • Pulls leads automatically from SalesRabbit, SPOTIO, Roofle and HubSpot so canvassers and marketing don't re-key contacts.
  • Builds branded homeowner proposals with good/better/best options and captures e-signature in the field.
  • Triggers NiceJob review requests when a job closes, feeding reputation campaigns that generate the next referral lead.
Accounting & Finance
  • Two-way sync of customers, invoices and payments to QuickBooks Online/Desktop or Sage Intacct, so the roofing job file and the ledger agree.
  • Job costing per roof: contract value against material, labor and commission to show realised margin before month-end.
  • Collects homeowner payments through integrated processing and posts them back to the job.
  • Tracks contracts and material commitments so committed cost is visible before the invoice arrives.
Estimator
  • Orders EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, HOVER, Geospan, RoofSnap or RoofScope aerial measurements from the job and auto-populates the estimate from the returned report.
  • Prices off live distributor catalogs so squares, waste factor and accessory counts cost out at the contractor's real account pricing.
  • Converts an approved estimate straight into a material order to the supplying branch.
  • Keeps measurement reports and imagery attached to the job as the evidence trail behind the number.
Foreman / Field Supervisor
  • Drag-and-drop crew scheduling with automated notifications so roofing crews know the day's tear-off and install assignments.
  • Mobile app gives the crew lead the job file, material list and homeowner contact on the roof.
  • Field photos flow in from CompanyCam and attach to the job as before/during/after documentation.
  • Job milestones drive the office workflow — marking install complete moves the job to invoicing without a phone call.
Project Manager
  • Production board shows every roof in flight by milestone, so a production manager can see what is waiting on material, permit or crew.
  • Automated text and email keep the homeowner informed through tear-off, install and cleanup.
  • Order status and proof-of-delivery photos from the distributor land on the job, confirming material hit the site before the crew does.
  • Document automation generates contracts, change paperwork and completion certificates from the job data.

By phase

Pre-Construction
  • Roof inspection and aerial measurement report ordered, then priced into a homeowner estimate.
  • Proposal presented and signed, converting the lead into a contracted roofing job.
  • Material ordered to the supplying distributor branch and scheduled for delivery to the property.
  • Insurance scope and supplement documentation assembled on restoration jobs before work starts.
Construction
  • Crews scheduled and dispatched against the production board for tear-off and install.
  • Field photos and job notes captured daily as installation-progress and condition evidence.
  • Homeowner kept informed by automated milestone messaging through the install.
  • Delivery confirmation and order status tracked so the crew is not idled waiting on material.
Closeout & Operations
  • Final invoice raised from the job and pushed to QuickBooks or Sage Intacct.
  • Homeowner payment collected and reconciled back to the job file.
  • Completion documentation, warranty paperwork and photo record archived on the job.
  • Review request triggered to the homeowner once the job closes.
