ALICE Plan turns a construction schedule into a 2D visual plan. Teams upload a schedule and project drawings, and Plan lays the activities out as blocks on the drawings. Planners can then re-sequence work from the canvas or the Gantt view and play the plan back over time. It is the visual planning part of the ALICE platform without the AI optimisation, which sits in ALICE Optimize and ALICE Model.
How teams use it
By audience
- General Contracting
- GCs lay the programme over site drawings to show owners and trades what happens where and when.
- Scheduler
- Schedulers generate canvas blocks from WBS levels or PDF markups, then edit sequences and logic visually instead of in a Gantt chart.
- Schedulers colour-code blocks by resource or critical path to check sequencing on the drawings.
- Project Manager
- Project managers play the plan back with the timeline slider to walk stakeholders through phasing.
By phase
- Pre-Construction
- Planners build spatial phasing diagrams from the tender schedule and drawings before mobilisation.
- Construction
- Teams update progress on the Plan page and re-sequence remaining work visually as site conditions change.
