Civil 3D → Autodesk Revit (linked topography via Autodesk Docs)

Built by Autodesk

Revit links Civil 3D files from Autodesk Docs and reads the civil surface in as toposolid topography, so the architectural model sits on the civil team's ground rather than a redrawn approximation. Autodesk's Revit 2026 release notes the accuracy of that link specifically: reloading topography linked in an earlier release can shift it to align more closely with the source geometry, and some topography that previously failed to link now succeeds. One-way — the civil surface is consumed by Revit, not edited there and returned.
