ProjectWise is fully integrated with MicroStation: DGN design files and managed WorkSpace/WorkSet configurations are stored in ProjectWise, and opening a DGN in MicroStation checks the document out (locking to read-only for others) and checks it back in on save. ProjectWise manages file references, versions, and the MicroStation managed configuration.
