About

MicroStation is Bentley's CAD platform for infrastructure design and documentation, used for roads, bridges, rail, utilities, plants and buildings. It provides 2D drafting and 3D modelling in the DGN format, reads and writes DWG, and is the base on which Bentley's OpenRoads, OpenBuildings and other OpenX applications run. Design data flows from it into ProjectWise for document control and into the iTwin platform for digital twins.
