How Navisworks and MicroStation exchange data

Autodesk ships a MicroStation file exporter that writes NWC directly from Bentley MicroStation, carrying object geometry and metadata into the Navisworks federated model for clash detection and coordination. Navisworks can read DGN natively, so unlike the Archicad and Max cases this exporter is a quality upgrade rather than the only route — Autodesk positions it for when the native conversion drops geometry.
