Okta is an identity and access management platform providing single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and automated user lifecycle provisioning for workforce and customer applications. In AEC it sits in front of the software rather than inside it — firms use Okta as the identity layer controlling employee and subcontractor access to project management, BIM and collaboration tools, and construction software vendors publish SAML/SCIM connectors into the Okta Integration Network so their apps can be governed the same way. Okta also owns Auth0, its customer-identity developer platform.
