About
OpenBuildings Designer is Bentley's BIM authoring application for buildings, built on MicroStation. Architects, structural engineers and MEP engineers model and document a building in one multi-discipline environment, with energy simulation and clash checking built in, and exchange models through IFC and DGN. It is used mostly on large infrastructure and plant projects where the rest of the design runs on Bentley tools.
