About
Google Earth is Google's interactive 3D globe, on the web, on mobile and as the free Google Earth Pro desktop app. It combines satellite, historical and photorealistic 3D imagery and Street View with imported KML, GeoJSON, shapefile and CSV data, and saves map projects to Google Drive for sharing. Paid Professional plans, billed through a Google Cloud billing account, add terrain, flood and zoning data layers, larger imports, AI change detection, and generated building and solar design studies on drawn or tax-lot sites. AEC teams use it to assess and compare sites remotely before field work and to present proposals in real-world context.
