Microsoft Entra ID → SAP SuccessFactors

Built by Microsoft

Microsoft ships three prebuilt provisioning apps that make SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central the HR system of record for identity: SuccessFactors → on-premises Active Directory, SuccessFactors → Microsoft Entra ID, and SuccessFactors Writeback. The inbound legs read Employee Central over the OData v2 API (PerPerson, PerPersonal, PerPhone, PerEmail, EmpEmployment, EmpJob, plus company / department / cost-centre / location / job-code objects) and drive the joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle — a new hire creates the account, attribute changes update it, a termination disables it, a rehire reactivates it, and Onboarding 2.0 pre-hires are provisioned ahead of their start date. The writeback leg returns the business email address and phone numbers Entra ID holds to the worker's Employee Central record. Microsoft Entra also supports SAML single sign-on to SuccessFactors.
