Fabric Mirroring continuously replicates an Azure SQL Database into Fabric's OneLake, converting the tables to Parquet and merging change-data-capture output into Delta tables as often as every 15 seconds. Each mirrored database gets an autogenerated SQL analytics endpoint, which is a read-only copy that answers T-SQL queries without touching the operational database. Microsoft charges nothing for the replication compute, and OneLake storage for the mirror is free up to the capacity size.
