Fabric Mirroring continuously replicates an on-premises or hosted SQL Server database into Fabric's OneLake as Delta tables, giving it an autogenerated read-only SQL analytics endpoint. SQL Server 2016 through 2022 mirror using the Change Data Capture feature; SQL Server 2025 mirrors by scanning the transaction log directly and can publish changes as often as every 15 seconds. Supported on Windows in Standard, Enterprise and Developer editions, on Linux from SQL Server 2017 CU18, and on instances hosted outside Azure.
