About
Construct 365 is SIS's ERP and CRM suite for construction, built on and running inside Microsoft Dynamics 365. Modules cover project cost management, CRM for projects, advanced labor for union and certified payroll, field operations, and a connector for enterprise application integration, aimed at specialty, general and heavy civil contractors that want construction job costing without leaving the Microsoft stack.
How teams use it
By audience
- Accounting & Finance
- Runs construction job costing, WIP and over/under billing inside Dynamics 365 rather than bolting a separate construction ledger onto the ERP.
- Advanced Labor handles union fringes, certified payroll and prevailing-wage reporting, which stock Dynamics 365 does not do.
- Financial reporting stays in the same Power BI and Dataverse stack the rest of the business already reports from.
- Project Manager
- Project cost management ties commitments, change orders and forecasts to the same records finance closes against.
- Field Operations pushes work orders and time capture back into the project record without a separate field app's export step.
- Executive Leadership
- One system of record across bidding, delivery and service work, instead of a construction point solution plus a general-ledger ERP that reconcile monthly.
- Microsoft licensing and identity already in place, which is usually the reason a Dynamics-standardised contractor picks an ISV suite over a standalone construction ERP.
- Specialty Contracting
- Service management alongside project accounting suits specialty contractors that run both installed work and recurring service calls.
- Union and certified payroll handling matters most to specialty trades working public jobs.
- General Contracting
- Subcontract commitments, change orders and job cost roll up into the Dynamics financials the corporate side already runs.
By phase
- Pre-Construction
- CRM for Projects tracks pursuits and bid opportunities in the same system the awarded job will later be costed in, so nothing is re-keyed at award.
- Construction
- Job cost, commitments, change orders, labor and field operations run against the live project through delivery.
- Certified payroll is produced from the same time records that drive job cost, rather than reconstructed at period end.
- Closeout & Operations
- Service management carries the relationship past closeout for contractors who maintain what they installed.
