CausewayOne e-Invoicing
About
CausewayOne e-Invoicing is an electronic invoicing network for construction buyers and their suppliers. Suppliers turn purchase orders into e-invoices, which are checked against each buyer's rules and matched to POs before they reach the buyer's finance system. Suppliers track approval and payment in a self-service portal, and buyers automate validation, routing and statement reconciliation.
How teams use it
By audience
- Accounting & Finance
- AP teams receive supplier invoices already validated against their own rules, so far fewer invoices need manual keying or checking.
- Invoices are matched to purchase orders automatically, and statements reconcile without chasing paper copies.
- Suppliers check approval and payment status in a portal, which cuts the volume of payment queries reaching AP.
- General Contracting
- Main contractors give their whole supply chain one standard route for invoices and credit notes across every division.
- Faster, more predictable approval helps contractors meet Fair Payment Code and prompt-payment reporting obligations.
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Buyers' purchase orders become the basis of the supplier's invoice, so price and quantity mismatches surface before approval.
- Order, delivery and invoice records sit in one network, which gives procurement a clear view of on-site spend by supplier.
- Specialty Contracting
- Subcontractors, merchants and plant-hire firms convert a buyer's PO into a compliant e-invoice instead of re-keying it.
- Sellers see when each invoice is received, approved, scheduled and paid, and pull their own reconciliation statements.
By phase
- Construction
- As materials and services are bought for live projects, invoices flow from suppliers to the contractor's finance system within minutes.
- Site spend is visible as it is invoiced, rather than weeks later when paper invoices are keyed in.
