OpenAsset
About
OpenAsset is a digital asset management (DAM) platform purpose-built for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. It organises project photos, images, and marketing assets around projects, people, and properties, letting marketing and business-development teams tag, search, and reuse imagery to build proposals, presentations, and award submissions. OpenAsset connects to Procore, Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision, Unanet CRM & ERP, aec360, CMap, Synthesis, and Adobe InDesign — including a native Procore Marketplace connector that automatically imports project photos from Procore into the DAM.
How teams use it
By audience
- Architecture
- Accesses construction-phase photos from Procore via OpenAsset to build project portfolios and support BD/marketing collateral for future pursuits.
- Construction Management
- Captures and archives construction progress photos from Procore in a centralised, searchable DAM without additional file management overhead.
- Makes on-site imagery immediately available to office and marketing teams through OpenAsset's shared library.
- Marketing & Communications
- Pulls project photos directly from Procore into OpenAsset DAM, providing marketing teams with a searchable library of current site imagery.
- Enables rapid creation of proposals, presentations, and award submissions by repurposing Procore field photos through OpenAsset's tagging and search tools.
- Eliminates the need for marketing staff to chase field teams for photo files — images flow automatically from Procore to the DAM.
- Applies Procore's existing tags (date, trade, custom fields) to imported images, preserving metadata for future searchability.
By phase
- Pre-Construction
- Consolidates pre-construction site photos and renderings from Procore into OpenAsset to support bid and proposal preparation.
- Construction
- Automatically ingests construction progress photos from Procore into OpenAsset as they are uploaded on site, maintaining an up-to-date project image library.
- Enables marketing teams to compile weekly photo updates and project showcases from live Procore data via OpenAsset.
