Claiming your vendor listing

How to ask for a seat on your company's vendor account, what we check before we grant one, and what happens next.

Last updated 12 October 2026

Claiming changes what buyers see. Once you edit your listing or mark it as checked, its page reads "Vendor maintained · Updated" with that date, where an unclaimed listing reads "AEC Integrations maintained". Buyers also see the links you add, such as the setup guide for an integration, and the details you keep current yourself.

AEC Integrations compiles its listings from public sources. A claim is how someone who works at a listed vendor asks for a seat on that vendor's account, so they can keep the listing accurate. You do not need an account to send one, and it costs nothing.

Send a claim

Open your company's page, or one of its product pages, and choose Claim this listing. A claim is also how you join your company's account when a colleague already has a seat.

The form asks for:

  • Your name and Your role at the company.
  • Your work email. An address at your company's own domain helps us confirm you. We send the answer there, and it is the address you sign in with.
  • LinkedIn profile (optional). Adding it is the fastest way for us to confirm you work there.
  • Anything we should know? (optional) A short note on your connection to the listing, up to 2,000 characters. Skip it if we asked you to claim.

Choose Send claim. The form confirms the claim was sent, shows the address we will answer at, and lists what happens next.

A claim on a product page is a claim on the vendor that makes the product. The seat you get covers the whole vendor account, not one product.

What we check

A person at AEC Integrations reads every claim. Nothing is granted automatically. We look at:

  • whether your email domain matches your company's website,
  • your LinkedIn profile, or a search for your name if you left it blank,
  • who already holds a seat on the account, and
  • whether anyone else has claimed the same listing.

We do not use paid lookup services to check who you are. If we need more, we email you.

We do not promise a time for a decision. Some claims take longer to confirm than others.

What happens next

If we approve it, you get an email saying your claim is approved, with a button to your vendor portal. If you did not have an account, we create one for you. Sign in with a one-time link sent to the same address. Approval also puts your company on a plan, Free or Managed. The email tells you what your account can do. Plans explains both plans. Your seat covers what you can do from there.

If we cannot approve it, you get an email saying so. You are welcome to send a new claim with more detail about your role.

Once you have a seat, your company's requests and their status appear in the vendor portal under Messages.

If your company makes connector products

A connector product carries data between other products. If your company makes one, For connector vendors covers the seat you can have and how we handle your claim.
