Your seat
Signing in to the vendor portal, inviting and removing colleagues, and what a seat lets you do on the Free and Managed plans.
Last updated 12 October 2026
A seat is one person's access to one vendor's account on AEC Integrations. Seats have no price and no limit on how many your company holds. What a seat can change depends partly on your company's plan, Free or Managed, set out below.
A field that AEC Integrations corrected and locked shows "Set by AEC Integrations" with the reason, and no seat can change it until AEC Integrations lifts the lock. Owning an integration explains how a lock works.
Go to the sign-in page and choose Continue with Google, or enter your email and choose Email me a sign-in link. Use the address your seat was granted to. There is no password.
Once you are signed in, the vendor portal opens on your company's overview. Its tabs are Vendor Overview, Profile, Products, Messages, Changes and Seats. Each product has its own tabs, including Integrations.
One account holds a seat on one vendor. If you need seats at two companies, use a separate email address for each.
How seats are granted
There are three ways to get a seat:
- An approved claim. The person who claimed the listing becomes an owner of the account. See Claiming your vendor listing.
- An invitation from a colleague. The person invited becomes a member.
- AEC Integrations adds one at your company's request. That seat is an owner.
Owners and members can do the same things with your company's listings. The one difference is that only owners manage seats.
Invite a colleague
Owners invite from the Seats tab. Choose Invite, enter your colleague's email address, and choose Send invite. Any address works. Your colleague must sign in with the address you invited.
- An invitation expires after 14 days.
- Resend sends it again. You can send each invitation up to four times, a few minutes apart.
- Revoke cancels an invitation that has not been accepted.
- Your company can send up to 10 invitations a day.
Invited colleagues join as members. Members cannot invite others.
If your colleague's account already holds a seat at another company, the invite page says the account can't join your team. They need to sign in with a different address, and you need to invite that address.
Remove a colleague
Owners remove a seat with Remove on the Seats tab. The person loses access to the vendor portal straight away. Their account stays, as an ordinary account that can still write reviews.
You cannot remove your own seat from the portal. If you are leaving your company, ask an owner to remove you. If you are the last owner, contact us first so the account is not left without one.
If AEC Integrations removes the last seat on your company's account, your listing goes back to us to maintain. The integrations your company claimed become unclaimed, and your data flows and attestations stay on them. When your company has a seat again, claim the integrations again.
Your account and your seat
Your seat belongs to your account on AEC Integrations, the one you sign in with.
- Colleagues with a seat on your vendor account see your display name in the vendor portal. You set it on your account page. See Your account and your data.
- If you delete your account, you give up your seat. If yours is the last seat on your company's account, your listing goes back to us to maintain, as described above.
What a seat can do
On every plan, including Free, you can:
- see everything in the vendor portal,
- edit your company details, and each product's description, website, logo and categories,
- mark your company details, a product, or a product's integration list as "Looks right", and work through the checklists (Plans),
- manage seats, if you are an owner,
- claim, edit, retire and add the integrations your company owns, except one delivered through a connector (Owning an integration),
- add your own links to an integration at either end,
- see the reviews of your products, and withdraw your company's reply to one (Replying to reviews),
- contest a detail on an integration your company does not own (Contests and protests),
- maintain the catalogue of a connector product your company makes, on that product's Catalogue tab, once we have handed the catalogue to you (For connector vendors).
On Managed, you can also:
- edit a product's integrations page URL, API docs URL, trades, audiences, phases and "How teams use it",
- confirm or deny data flows (Attesting an integration),
- claim, edit, retire and restore an integration your company owns that is delivered through a connector, and decide contests on it (Owning an integration),
- reply in public to reviews of your products (Replying to reviews).
Where your company and products appear in search is worked out from how well each listing matches the search and how complete it is. See How ranking works.
If a Managed plan ends
Your company moves to Free. Your seats stay, and so does sign-in. The portal becomes read-only for anything that needs Managed. Nothing you entered is removed. Your listings stay published, and everything Free allows keeps working.
