Notifications and messages
The Messages tab in your vendor portal, which notices reach you by email and which only in the portal, and how to turn off the daily reminder email.
Last updated 13 October 2026
We keep you up to date in two places: the Messages tab in your vendor portal, and email to the address of each seat. Most updates appear only in the portal. A few that carry a decision or a deadline also come by email.
The Messages tab
Messages is on your company's tabs. Everyone with a seat sees the same messages, on every plan. It has four parts.
Claim and correction status
Each claim on your listing, and each correction someone suggested to your company or a product, with the date it was filed and, once closed, the date it closed. Its status is Open, In review, Resolved or Not accepted. Claiming your vendor listing covers claims.
Change requests
The requests your company sent about integrations, and the ones other companies sent about integrations you own, with where each stands. Contests and protests covers them in full.
Daily reminder email
A switch for your own seat. See "Turning off the daily reminder" below.
Recent notifications
Everything we noted for your company in the last 90 days. It includes:
- our reminders about data flows waiting on you,
- updates on change requests,
- changes another company made to an integration with one of your products,
- new reviews of your products, and our decisions on your replies,
- changes AEC Integrations made to what your company holds, with our reason. That includes a corrected or locked field, a replaced logo and a removed seat.
The list is collapsed under Recent notifications with a count. When new notifications arrive while you have the portal open, the count says how many are new. Each note shows the state at the time it was recorded, so a later change may have overtaken it. There is no "mark as read".
What comes by email
| Who gets it | When | |
|---|---|---|
| Your claim is approved, or was not approved | The person who claimed | When we decide the claim |
| An invitation to a seat | The person invited | When an owner invites or resends |
| Your plan ends soon | Every seat | 30 days before a Managed plan's end date |
| A new review of your product | Every seat | When we publish the review |
| A change request you sent was declined | Every seat at your company | When the owner declines it, with the date your time to ask for a review ends |
| A review request on your decision | Every seat at the owner | When the other company asks us to review it, with your reply date |
| A reminder to reply to a review request | Every seat at the owner | Two to three days before the reply date, if you have not replied |
| Daily reminder | Each seat that has not turned it off | Once a day, when data flows need an answer |
Everything else appears only in Messages or on the page it concerns. We do not send an email when a Managed plan ends. The portal shows a banner instead. See Your dashboard.
Turning off the daily reminder
The daily reminder lists the integration records that need an answer from your company. It is the only email you can turn off.
- Use the Daily reminder email switch on Messages, or the link at the foot of the email itself.
- It turns the email off for your seat only. Your colleagues still get theirs.
- The reminders still appear under Recent notifications.
- Seat invites, claim decisions, plan notices, new reviews and change-request deadlines still arrive.
The switch shows when you turned it off. Turn it back on the same way.
