About
Quotr.ai runs AI takeoff on PDF and image plan sets: it counts symbols, measures lengths and calculates areas across every sheet, in metric or imperial. Quantities link to line items priced from the firm's own cost database or Quotr's regional material, labor and assembly rates. The result goes out as a proposal PDF, marked-up plans and quantity exports. An AI agent answers questions about the drawings, and a bid manager sends quote requests to suppliers, compares their responses side by side and awards them.

- Estimator
- Estimators upload a plan set and review AI-detected counts, lengths and areas instead of tracing every sheet by hand.
- Low-confidence detections are flagged for review, and every quantity stays editable before it is priced.
- Historical bid data and price books are imported from Excel, CSV or PDF into a private database with labor wages and assemblies.
- Estimators ask the AI agent for symbol counts, room dimensions or spec answers in plain language against the live drawings.
- General Contracting
- General contractors take off a full plan set across trades and turn it into a branded proposal PDF with scope and exclusions.
- Precon teams apply zip-code-level material and labor rates to build an early budget before trade pricing comes in.
- Specialty Contracting
- Electrical, MEP, drywall and flooring subcontractors run trade takeoffs from the GC's PDF set and export a priced bid.
- Subs send quote requests to their own suppliers, compare responses side by side and award the order inside Quotr.ai.
