About
AppSheet is Google's no-code platform for building mobile and web apps on top of spreadsheets, databases and other business data. Apps capture forms, photos, signatures, locations and barcodes, work offline with background sync, and run automations such as notifications and PDF generation. Teams use it to build their own inspection checklists, incident reports, timesheets and equipment logs without writing code.

- Facilities Management
- Facility teams run inspection and asset apps on a phone, scanning barcodes or NFC tags to pull up the asset record.
- Inspection results write back to a Sheet, Smartsheet or SQL table that the facilities office already reports from.
- IT & Systems Administration
- IT admins license AppSheet through the Google Admin console and set team policies on who may build apps and which data sources they may use.
- Admins connect governed sources such as BigQuery, SQL Server or Salesforce so firm staff build apps on approved data.
- Safety Management
- Safety teams build incident-report and workplace-safety apps that capture photos, signatures and GPS location offline on site.
- Automations email or notify the safety lead the moment a field incident or hazard record is submitted.
