About
Databricks is a lakehouse platform that holds a firm's data alongside the analytics, engineering and AI workloads running on it. Unity Catalog governs who can see which tables, Delta Lake is the open storage format underneath, and SQL warehouses serve the queries. AEC firms run it as the warehouse behind portfolio and cross-project reporting, not as a tool anyone on site touches.
