Looker is Google Cloud's enterprise business-intelligence platform. Analysts define a firm's metrics once in LookML, a version-controlled semantic layer that sits over its own SQL database or warehouse, and Looker generates the queries behind Explores, dashboards, scheduled deliveries and embedded analytics. Gemini-powered conversational analytics and an MCP server let users and AI agents query the same governed model. In AEC it is the reporting layer a firm builds over a warehouse it already loads project, cost and operations data into.
